Mailing List

The club runs an electronic mailing list for use by members. Anybody with an email address can subscribe to the list.

After subscribing, any emails that you send to isac@stoneville.ltd.uk will be forwarded to all other list subscribers. When other subscribers send email to isac@stoneville.ltd.uk a copy will automatically be forwarded to you. The list is a handy way of sending mail to all club members who want to receive it.

Only subscribed members can use the list. If an email is sent to the list by somebody who has not subscribed, it will be blocked. This helps stop the list being used for unsolicited 'spam'. The list has been running for over a year now and, so far, there has not been any spam sent to it.

Subscribing To The List
As described above, you need to subscribe to the list before you can use it. To do this, simply send a message from your email account to isac@stoneville.ltd.uk with the word subscribe in the subject line. Your message should look like this: -

Most people should be able to send email direct from this web page. Click here to subscribe in this way. If you don't see a message like the one above, you will need to send an email manually.

Anything in the body of the message will be ignored so you can leave it blank. You should receive a confirmation of your subscription within a few minutes.

Using The List
To use the list, just send a message to isac@stoneville.ltd.uk. Put anything you want in the subject line and the body. Your mail will be automatically forwarded to all other subscribed list members.

Unsubscribing From The List
You can unsubscribe from the list at any time. Just send a message to isac@stoneville.ltd.uk, like the one above but with the word unsubscribe in the subject line. After unsubscribing, you will not receive any more copies of emails sent to the list and you will not be able to send messages to the list. If you change your mind, you can resubscribe at any time.
