Welcome to the web site of Ipswich Sub-Aqua Club

This is harder than it looks! Can you eat me? Can I eat you?Our club was formed way back in 1956 and currently has in the region of 50 members. We are branch 32 of the British Sub-Aqua Club (BSAC) which has 1500 branches world-wide - over 150 of them outside the UK - and over 50,000 members: the biggest diving club in the world! Our club follows the BSAC syllabus for diver training and we award BSAC qualifications.

The objectives of our club are to provide training to enable our members to develop their skills; to organise diving related trips and events for members and to organise social events such as the club Christmas party. For more information about club activities, click on the 'What We Do' link or get in touch.

If you are interested in joining our club, please get in touch. We normally recruit around ten new trainees in the autumn or winter. Qualified divers are welcome to join at any time.
